He send me above pictures and following text:

Helmut,

I hope you are doing well!  I wanted to send you a note to tell you I finished my build.  I only had a few problems, all of them self-inflicted.

I had an open pin on one of the SMD i2c chips on one of the relay cards, which manifested itself as a short on the filament bus.  I reflowed each of the boards in an oven prior to building the through hole portion.  I guess I missed the open connection when inspecting the boards.  The other problem was the 300 volt supply would not adjust.  Turns out I had a 1k ohm instead of an 1100 ohms resistor.  Incidentally if you read a 1000 ohm 1% with bands backwards it looks like 1100 ohms.  Calibration went well, I have been testing away for a couple of days.

I ended up 3D printing the socket bed and covers.  I also developed a slide in tube  socket holder.  This is a lot easier than buying boxes and cutting them out.  I machined a piece of 3/4" aluminum to house the socket receptacle.  I would be glad to provide the STL files if others would like to do the same.

It took a little over 40 hours of labor to build.  The reference to Reichelt was very helpful.  I bought the majority of the parts from them, relay's came from one of my asian suppliers, Mouser supplied the rest.   Reichelt seems to be a pretty reliable supplier with a European twist, freight was not unreasonable.

When I went looking for the ML A12 DIN they seem to be rare here in the states, again Reichelt had the best price.

Thank you again for your innovation, I look forward to working with you in the future ... Best Regards ... tom
